Anonymous NFL Executives Believe Eagles Are 'Coddling' Carson Wentz

It's not easy being Carson Wentz. When the former No. 2 overall pick tore his ACL in the midst of a spectacular 2017 season, many anticipated that he would pick up right where he left off upon return from the injury. Unfortunately for Wentz, he has only dealt with further injury issues since returning as the team's starter.
You may remember last season, when rumors began swirling regarding Wentz's status with the team, especially with the whole Nick Foles controversy as well as the reported issue Wentz was believed to have regarding his "coach-ability." Such nonsensical, distracting chatter has only continues, now with some executives believing Wentz could benefit from some more disciplined coaching.

It seems some feel Wentz is getting preferential treatment in Philly, which is contributing to his struggles.
Wentz and the Eagles are in the middle of an extremely mediocre campaign, but somehow have a chance to win the division at 5-7 right now. But blaming Wentz directly for the team's issues would be an ignorant judgement to make, given the circumstances. The team is dealing with countless injuries and their wide receiving corps is decimated.
The Eagles defense is being torched by the last place Dolphins via a 185-year-old QB, a #3 WR, a practice squad FB, and a punter.

But...but...Carson Wentz! It's all his fault!
Then again, the Eagles' system worked to perfection with game-manager Nick Foles under center, so there's no reason why Wentz (the superior talent) can't find similar success.
