Anthony Davis is a Fool for Not Considering Staying With New Orleans Despite Zion Williamson
By Brendan Azoff

The New Orleans Pelicans came out of no where to win the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery, shocking all those in attendance and watching at home.
With Zion Williamson inevitably in their sights, the focus shifts to Anthony Davis and what he is going to want to do now.

Davis requested a trade from the Pelicans last season, but now he would be foolish to not want to play with the young phenom in New Orleans. Zion and Davis have the skill set to be one of the best one-two punches in the league AD comes to his senses and remains a Pelican.
Unfortunately for David Griffin and Co., that doesn't appear to be the case
The New Orleans Pelicans are now set up to be Zion Williamson’s franchise to lift, and No. 1 pick could ease potential trade of Anthony Davis. His stance on a trade has not changed, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Williamson coupled with Davis could put the Pelicans in a prime position this summer to add one more star player, giving them their own big three and thus creating the winning environment Davis has craved his whole career.

It will be interesting to see if Davis does choose to continue his quest to leave the Pelicans. The Knicks could trade the third pick to get him, putting the possibility of a Williamson and RJ Barrett duo on New Orleans.
Will Davis leave? The question still remains, but if Davis realizes the opportunity ahead of him he will remain a Pelican and tear up the NBA with Williamson.
