Anthony Davis Makes First Appearance in Lakers Jersey at NBA 2K Photo Shoot
By Michael Luciano

After seven years in New Orleans as both a Hornet and a Pelican, Anthony Davis has officially landed in Hollywood as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
With his No. 23 currently being occupied by LeBron James thanks to the higher-ups ay Nike, Davis made his first appearance in Lakers purple and gold at a photoshoot for NBA 2K20.

Davis will wear No. 3 this season after Nike executives stepped in and prevented him from taking No. 23 as LeBron switched to No. 6.
While No. 3, which Davis claims he wore in elementary school, looks a bit weird on a big man, Davis makes it work. Hopefully for the Lakers, their single-digit big Davis ends up more like Bill Russell and less like Ryan Kelly.

Selling basically every tradeable asset the team had not named Kyle Kuzma to get AD is a risk, but the Lakers now can put the best all-around player in NBA history next to the best big man in the game.
Strap in, Lakers fans. This is going to be fun.
