The Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies faced off on Saturday night, and LA isn't about reversing the fortunes of one of the NBA's best young teams. Anthony Davis made an impressive rejection on NBA rising star Ja Morant's dunk attempt in the first quarter of the Western Conference matchup.

Morant was able to break away from Avery Bradley and find a clear lane to the hoop. The Murray State product thought he was home free, only for Davis to swat away his two-point opportunity from behind. Morant is known for being able to get up, but Davis was not going to allow the Murray State product to add to his highlight reel.
