Anthony Rizzo Got a New Puppy and the Photos are Too Adorable

Cubs fans, prepare to have your hearts warmed in the frigid temperatures of November. No, the Cubbies didn't make a major offseason move, but this is even better than any possible transaction Theo Epstein could ever complete.

Anthony Rizzo just got a new puppy, and the photos would even make pre-2016 championship Steve Bartman smile.

Rizzo and his wife, Emily, really had their new puppy pose in the middle of plush animals and stuffed dolls. And the best part? Those pictures actually came out well. The pup's already a pro at photo ops.

The only complaint anyone could possibly have about this is that Rizzo named his puppy Kevin. Nothing against the name, but it's a bit generic for our king.

That, and the fact that Rizzo would do something as horrible as holding the puppy while wearing a Miami Dolphins hoodie. Kevin deserves much better. Even a Bears jersey would be better than a Dolphins hoodie, even if Rizzo hails from Florida and is a massive 'Fins fan.

Yeah, Rizzo should stick to baseball for now, especially with all the transition in Chicago this offseason.
