VIDEO: Anthony Rizzo Shares Hilarious Story About Heckling Chipper Jones as a Kid While Mic'd Up During Cubs Game
By Thomas Carannante

Let's do this for every regular season game, please? The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels are facing off in a Spring Training game on Monday and a few of our favorite personalities are mic'd up for the event. Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant are providing some insight and fun story time for us with the guys in the broadcast booth and Major League Baseball simply needs to make this a priority because the fans absolutely love it. And who wouldn't want to hear a story about Rizzo and his dad heckling Chipper Jones from behind the dugout during a game when Rizzo was a kid?
No hard feelings, right @RealCJ10? ?

Oh man! Chipper's going to return the favor in the booth this year, isn't he?! This is the kind of banter baseball needs during the broadcasts.
How about Bryant mic'd up during his at-bat? Let's hop inside his brain while he's trying to put some lumber on the ball...
Hey @MLB,

THIS is how you market your game and increase the viewership. Give the fans an inside look at the game & in depth experience with their favorite teams/players instead of blackout rules and not letting fans ENJOY the sport.

He took the first pitch for a ride but it was just foul. All that running down the first base line for nothing! That's why it's Spring Training though, Kris! It's time to get some running in and shake off the rust from the winter.
Let's hope the MLB is working out all the kinks with mic'ing up players too because the fans deserve this on a weekly basis at the very least.
