Anthony Rizzo Swings at a Freaking Nasty Slider That Hits His Knee From Nationals' Justin Miller
By Karl Rasmussen

Anthony Rizzo is one of the best sluggers in the league, but even he can get fooled from time to time. Nationals reliever Justin Miller had the Cubs' star looking foolish at the plate by delivering a filthy slider that ended up clipping Rizzo in the knee. Unfortunately, that was after he had swung at the pitch.

Miller's slider was brutal and Rizzo genuinely thought he had a chance to get the lumber on the ball, but instead he swung through and ended up getting plunked right on the knee cap. Ouch.
While Rizzo is known to sometimes lean into pitches for competitive advantage, that was not the case this time.
