Antonio Brown Facing 2nd Lawsuit From Pittsburgh-Area Citizens Who Say He Owes Thousands of Dollars
By Mark Powell
It truly never ends.
The man the Raiders chose to suspend and then immediately switch their decision when pressed with the possibility of a season-opening defeat on Monday Night Football is facing a second lawsuit (yes, there's more) from two Pittsburgh-area citizens who claim he owes them thousands.
The details of said lawsuit have yet to be revealed, but this is the second civil dispute Brown finds himself in just this month. AB was sued by a chef for allegedly skipping out on a $40,000 bill at the 2018 Pro Bowl.
This, of course, all comes on the heels of Brown's many tantrums this offseason, all of which almost caused the Raiders to find a way out of the mega-contract they gave him. Instead, Oakland has backtracked despite Brown trying to fight GM Mike Mayock and calling him a "cracker" (among other things). If that wasn't enough, Brown's continued off-the-field issues ought to give Oakland pause about whether or not his production on the gridiron is really worth the distraction.
Brown's downward spiral is unlikely to end anytime soon, and the former Steelers wideout just can't seem to leave Pittsburgh in his rearview.
