Antonio Brown Files 2nd Grievance vs NFL Over Air Schutt Advantage Helmet and We're So Tired of This
By Mark Powell

No, this isn't the pizza you ordered. It's more Antonio Brown helmet news!
Brown and the NFL are still (somehow) at odds over an old Air Schutt Advantage helmet that AB would prefer to wear over the new model the league has insisted its players sport due to safety concerns. While it was initially thought Brown had found a loophole should he wear a newer version of the Air Schutt Advantage, a helmet that has been deemed unsafe by the NFL, the league has stepped in to say this, too, is also not allowed.
In response, Brown has filed a new grievance against the NFL. Yes, it's not done.
Raiders’ WR Antonio Brown filed a new grievance against the NFL in an attempt to be able to wear the helmet he wants, per source.

Brown's ego renders him unwilling to go along with a league standard, and the NFL is too stubborn to allow one player to alter its policies. Something has to give, or so we'd expect.
Roger Goodell and the NFL aren't willing to bend here, and despite Brown previously threatening retirement (reportedly) over this seemingly small issue, it appears he'll either have to suck it up or actually take the Raiders up on that and forfeit most of his contract in the process. Once again, this is over a helmet.

Brown is essentially arguing to receive the same one-year grace period as the likes of Tom Brady, but that seems rather odd, especially because AB should've known he would be forced to give up his helmet this year per league rules. So he's pleading incompetence?
This, we'd assume, is one last gasp effort to get what Brown wants. Should the NFL stand pat again...there just can't be more, right?
