Antonio Brown Continues to Express Desire for Patriots Return in Latest Instagram Post
By Scott Rogust
If there's an unoccupied spotlight, embattled wide receiver Antonio Brown will run towards it like it's an end zone. Brown was released by the New England Patriots last month, where the franchise voided his guaranteed money.
Earlier this week, Brown took to Instagram Live, pleading with the Patriots to re-sign him, because in his mind they "have to pay [him] anyway."
On Thursday night, Brown took things a step further, by using the popular "Wolverine framed photo" meme to express how much he misses being a member of the Patriots.
While Brown continues to push for a return to New England after his one-game tenure, the likelihood of it is minute.
After the team released him, Brown sent out a variety of tweets criticizing team owner Robert Kraft and poking fun at his "massage parlor" incident. Brown has shown his ability to burn bridges, like he did with the Oakland Raiders earlier in the summer. Considering he filed a grievance against the Patriots to give him is guaranteed money, don't expect Kraft or Bill Belichick to come calling.
Don't expect Antonio Brown to take the field again this season, especially with his ongoing legal issues.
