Antonio Brown is so Desperate to Get Back on the Patriots He's Relentlessly Tweeting During SNF
By Scott Rogust
The New England Patriots entered Week 13 favored against the young Houston Texans but they were outclassed throughout the game, just like they were when facing the Baltimore Ravens.
New England's offense was ravaged by poor routes, miscommunication and bad blocking. So what do the Patriots need in order to get back to their usual selves?
According to banished wide receiver Antonio Brown, the answer is himself. During Sunday Night Football, the ex-Patriots receiver asked Twitter users to retweet his message if they want to put him in the game.
Playing in an NFL game doesn't work like this, Antonio. It's not a game of Madden.
The tweet barrage only continued, as he let out his inner Mariah Carey, telling the Patriots "all I want for Christmas is you."
Safe to say a Patriots contract isn't going to be sitting under your tree or in your stocking on Christmas morning, bud.
Brown is desperate to make a return to New England. The Patriots took a flyer on the receiver after he orchestrated his chaotic exit from the Oakland Raiders. Brown's tenure in a Patriots uniform would last just one game after sexual assault allegations from his ex-trainer, Brittney Taylor, surfaced after his signing.
Even after he blasted Patriots owner Robert Kraft after his release, Brown sent out an apology to him a couple of weeks ago through his various social media accounts, hoping to get back in his good graces.
No matter how many times he tweets, the likelihood of Antonio Brown playing for the New England Patriots this season is slim to none.
