Antonio Brown's Full Class Schedule at Central Michigan Revealed
By Sam Dunn
Antonio Brown isn't an NFL player anymore-- not now, and perhaps not ever. Of course, we should know better at this point than to attempt to guess what the former Patriot, Raider, and Steeler will possibly do next as a rule, but for now, he's going back to the place where it all started.
Yes, AB has enrolled in online classes at the place where he played college ball, Central Michigan University.
Brown played three seasons at CMU before heading to the NFL Draft, so it's likely that he doesn't have an excessive load of credits left to satisfy in order to graduate. And for this fall, he's got four courses on his plate.
What Are the Classes Antonio Brown is Taking This Fall?
-- Management 312: Introduction to Management
-- English 303: Technical Writing
-- Religion 334: Death and Dying
-- Sociology 323: Racism and Inequality
Wow, that's quite a sampling. Clearly not in a rush to get after his math and hard sciences, AB has a good mix of humanities and practicalities on his fall slate, with "Death and Dying" obviously standing out the most.
As CMU's course description for REL 334 reads:
"Death calls into question the meaning and purpose of human existence. It challenges us to identify those values which we believe make life humane and to analyze the relationship of those values to our modes of living and dying. In particular, it challenges us to examine the relationship of those values to such elements of contemporary life as rapid social change, transformation of traditional institutions, technology, law, modern medicine, and public policy on health care issues. In this course, death will be explored in contexts such as these."
In so many ways, the metaphor is kind of purpose-built for this stage of Brown's life.
