Argentina dominate Uruguay and Lio Messi stars

In the CONMEBOL table, Argentina continues to sit in second plate behind the mighty Brazil. Argentina is now up to 22 points following a head-turning win over Luis Suarez and Uruguay on Sunday night.

In that win, the Argentines recorded a 3-0 result. Lionel Messi of course stole the show, as he opened the scoring in the 38th minute. Then, Rodrigo De Paul and Lautaro Martinez followed things up with goals of their own.

Argentina really has been class through the qualifiers. After winning the Copa America in the summer, its confidence has been high. This very well should continue in Qatar come 2022.
