Art Rooney II Suspects Steelers Will Participate in Hall of Fame Game Come August
By Mark Powell

The Steelers expect to have solid representation in Canton, OH come August, especially considering two of their very own are set to be enshrined into pro football immortality.
Longtime Steelers safety Donnie Shell and former head coach Bill Cowher will both be part of the 2020 class, not to mention the likes of Alan Faneca and Troy Polamalu are still in the running to join them.
While the Hall of Fame game isn't the main draw, it does mark the official start to the NFL preseason. Rooney II has an inkling the Steelers might play a part in the August showdown.
With two confirmed going in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and at least one more likely, Art Rooney II is pretty sure the Steelers will be playing in the Hall of Fame game.

"We’re guessing that we’ll be in Canton in August, yes."
Steelers fans already travel better than any other fanbase in all of football. Considering Canton is just over a two hour drive from Pittsburgh, there's nothing stopping Steeler Nation from taking over Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

18 Steelers had already been enshrined in Canton before this most recent class, which could add four more to that total by the time voting is finished. For one of the most legendary organizations in the sport, this shouldn't come as a surprise.
