VIDEO: Former NFL DB Asante Samuel Shuts Down Darrelle Revis' 'Crazy Stupid' Richard Sherman Diss

Darrelle Revis made the odd decision to criticize San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman after a single blown coverage in Sunday's NFC Championship. The former All-Pro called out Sherman for not playing in man coverage, but was quickly called out for his criticism by plenty around the league. Now, we can add Pro Bowl corner Asante Samuel to the list of those defending Sherman, who's on his way to the Super Bowl.

It is hard to argue with Samuel's "crazy stupid" remark. Revis came out of nowhere to slander Sherman despite the 49ers dominating the Green Bay Packers and leaving no doubt.

Samuel also makes the great point that Sherman will play wherever it helps his team the most. He isn't out there going into man coverage just for his own ego. This whole situation is a bit bizarre, and Sherman himself responded before Samuel's video came out.

Samuel points out how the entire dust-up Revis started is pointless. Sherman is going to the Super Bowl, and Revis is either jealous or just really hates Sherman. Whichever, it's petty.
