Berma Beal just celebrated her 100th birthday, and she happens to be a huge Houston Astros fan with a chance to celebrate in style.

For most fans, making the World Series (again) would be a great enough gift, but Connor McFarland, who works at the Crestview Retirement Community where Beal lives, is a fellow 'Stros fan who's bonded with her over their shared fandom (though Beal has many more decades of service in her column).

McFarland wanted to make her 100th birthday special, so he reached out to the Astros in hopes of finding a special solution here. Luckily, the team actually responded and delivered in a big way.

On Tuesday morning, the Astros sent a package to Beal that included two jerseys, a baseball cap, a World Series replica ring, bobbleheads, and a special birthday letter for her.

As you can imagine, she was elated

"It thrilled me to death because the Lord has blessed me so much and then to get something like this is just a tremendous honor," Beal said.

If they really wanted to knock her socks off, they should've sent her some World Series tickets. Maybe that's reaching too high, but in the end, they came through and made her birthday very special.
