The Houston Astros are at an unfathomable low point right now. Their last three years, the most successful stretch in their franchise's history, have now been tainted by a sign-stealing scandal. It's a smudge on their legacy that will likely never go away.

People are already discounting this Astros team heading into 2020, and if they're going to prove their doubters wrong next year, then they need to use the hate from the cheating scandal as a springboard.

They need to rally around the chaos. They have to circle the wagons and go on a scorched-earth campaign.

A team playing with an emotional fire lit underneath them is a force to be reckoned with, especially a team as talented as the Astros. They have all of the tools they need to reassert themselves atop the league. All they need to do is rally around this unifying force.

A strong 2020 campaign might not change the past, but at the very least, it would help bring some respect back to the organization. It would prove that they can hang with the league's best without stealing signs or using other alleged underhanded methods.

Turning their franchise's most shameful moment into a point of inspiration is the perfect way to flip the script.

And it's the only way that they can redeem themselves. They have to go on a revenge tour with the scandal at the core. That's how they can salvage an otherwise tumultuous-looking 2020 season.
