Entire Astros Roster Meeting With Owner Jim Crane to Discuss How to Address Cheating Scandal

Wednesday was supposed to be an exciting day for the Houston Astros. Pitchers and catchers report to camp and a new season is underway.
Yet the players will have to face the media once again (many already did at the team's FanFest) and answer nonstop questions about the sign-stealing scandal, and rightfully so. Astros owner Jim Crane reportedly wants to have everyone on the same page and will hold a meeting with his players Wednesday to discuss how the organization will address the scandal.
News: On the eve of pitchers and catchers reporting to Houston Astros camp, the entire roster has gathered in Florida and expects to meet Wednesday with owner Jim Crane to discuss how the team will publicly address the sign-stealing scandal. Story at ESPN: https://t.co/nvMFN8zsXu

This is a wise move on Crane's part, and the ESPN story, written by Jeff Passan, notes how position players are flying in as well to take part in the meeting. The team will have full availability with the media on Thursday.

While unified message throughout the organization is something that will help the Astros put this behind them, the team can't pretend like all the attention will go away if they give non-answers, try to ignore the questions or don't express remorse in some capacity.
Bottom line: they better be ready to answer some hard-hitting questions because journalists won't let this opportunity slip away.
