Astros Reveal Stacked Lineup for Winner-Take-All ALDS Game 5 Against Rays
By Mark Powell

After a valiant effort from the Rays to even get us to this point -- a winner-take-all Game 5 in Houston -- the Astros have their backs against the wall far earlier than any of the prognosticators expected.
With Gerrit Cole on the mound, the Astros aim to give him some solid run support against his opposition in Tyler Glasnow. AJ Hinch is sticking with a very similar group to Game 4 in Tampa Bay despite their disappointing loss on the road.

George Springer has revamped the narrative after a rough start to the series, putting together a solid Game 4, going 2-for-4 out of the leadoff spot. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and Springer is the catalyst for one of the best lineups in the bigs.
The only argument to be made with Hinch's decision-making is his insistence of starting Josh Reddick, who's been struggling since late August, rather than Kyle Tucker. Reddick, Springer and Brantley's inability to get on base has been a major storyline this series. However, in such a big game, Hinch is likely smart to go with experience over youth.
George Springer, Michael Brantley and Josh Reddick are a combined 3-for-35 during this series.

Perhaps playing in a familiar setting -- on a grand stage, nonetheless -- will provide them the necessary comfort and edge to break out in a big way.
First pitch is 7:07 p.m. ET from Minute Maid Park.
