Astros Starter Brad Peacock Scratched From Monday's Start With Shoulder Discomfort
By Michael Luciano

Houston Astros starter Brad Peacock is no stranger to the IL, and may once again find himself struggling to get back on the field following a nagging shoulder injury.
Peacock, who is 6-6 with a 4.13 ERA in 15 starts for the Astros this season, will not make his scheduled start Monday against the Los Angeles Angels. The Astros will instead start young left hander Framber Valdez, who's been up against it a bit lately.
Astros SP Brad Peacock is scratched from tomorrow’s start. More shoulder discomfort. Framber Valdez will start. Tuesday likely will be an opener.

Peacock was coming off of a strong rehab start with the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks, in which he gave up only one hit and struck out four in two innings.
Strong start by Astros right-hander Brad Peacock tonight. Peacock retired 6 of 7 batters faced, striking out 4.

With the Astros in need of a starter even with Peacock healthy, this is not the news Houston fans wanted to hear.

While they did get reliever Joe Smith back from the IL, the Astros pitching staff will once again be without a key contributor for the near future. Still, AJ Hinch should be trusted to handle this.
