VIDEO: Tim Allen Slams Cheating Astros on His Sitcom 'Last Man Standing'
By Jerry Trotta
There may be no live sports amid the coronavirus pandemic, but that doesn't mean that we won't welcome Houston Astros slander in regards to the team's reprehensible sign-stealing scandal with open arms. The latest individual to climb aboard the hate bandwagon is actor Tim Allen, who hilariously bodied the Astros on the latest episode of his sitcom, Last Man Standing.
"As Americans, our obsession with winning and losing can make us lose sight of what's right and wrong," said Allen. "I'm talking to you, Houston Astros."
Allen is a legend for this, but Last Man Standing wasn't quite finished bashing Houston. The producer featured a clever advertisement for a baseball and brew league while the credits were rolling, which brilliantly reminded fans to bring their own trash cans.
The entire production crew of the sitcom deserves a standing ovation for this troll job. Last Man Standing providing a reason to make a mockery of the Astros during a time where it's difficult to find the proper attack angle is nothing short of amazing.
