How to Live Stream the Game

The series opener between the Astros and A's will be televised on both ATSW and NSCA at 10:07 p.m. ET. Further streams for the game can be found on the MLB Live Stream subreddit page.

Astros Lineup

Brad Peacock is set to take the mound Friday against Oakland. He's posted a 5-2 record this season with a 3.19 ERA. He hasn't allowed a run in his last 12 innings pitched, so he'll be looking to keep that streak going against the A's.

Led by third baseman Alex Bregman, the Astros bolster one of the best lineups in the AL. George Springer, Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve are all on the IL, however, so the 'Stros are fielding a weaker group of hitters.

Both left fielder Michael Brantley and right fielder Josh Reddick are hitting over .300 for the season. The Astro bats will be looking to keep their hitting frenzy going in their series against Oakland.

A's Lineup

Right-hander Mike Fiers will be pitching for the A's Friday night. He's had an up and down season in 2019, posting a 4-3 record with a 5.00 ERA. He has been better over the last month though, posting a 2.84 ERA over his last six starts.

Like Fiers, the hitters for the A's have had an up and down season as well. They'll be rolling out the same lineup Friday night as they did in their last outing where they put up seven runs. It wasn't enough to get the win against the Los Angeles Angels in their last game, but they'll need a similar hitting performance against the Astros if they want the W.
