Astros vs Angels MLB Live Stream Reddit for Friday's Game
By Jerry Trotta
The Los Angeles Angels will visit Minute Maid Park on Friday for the first of a three-game set against the Houston Astros. Los Angeles has won both of their games since the shocking passing of Tyler Skaggs whereas Houston won their fifth straight contest on Wednesday, and their seventh in nine games, completing a sweep of the Rockies on the road.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. ET and will be televised locally on AT&T Sports Net and FOX Sports West. Live streams, however, can be found via the MLB Streams subreddit roughly a half-hour before game time.
Astros Lineup
George Springer leads off and plays center field, followed by Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman. Michael Brantley hits cleanup ahead of rookie slugger Yordan Alvarez.
Justin Verlander will take the ball in the series opener for the 'Stros fresh off being selected to his eighth All-Star Game. The ageless right-hander is 10-3 with a 2.86 ERA thus far in 2019 but is coming off a rocky month of June where he finished 2-1 with a 4.02 ERA while allowing 10 home runs over six starts in 40.1 innings.
Angels Lineup
Kole Calhoun leads it off for the Halos with Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani following suit. Andrelton Simmons hits cleanup, with Albert Pujols in the five-hole.
Right-hander Noe Ramirez will take the mound for the Angels in this one but he is expected to be removed for reliever/starter Felix Pena (4-2, 4.73 ERA) as soon as he runs into trouble.
Ramirez is 3-1 with a 3.16 ERA across 29 appearances (three starts) and 42.2 innings this season.
