Astros Lineup
Derek Fisher leads off for Houston, as they try to avoid replicating their one-run performance from Wednesday. Alex Bregman bats second followed by Michael Brantley. Yuli Gurriel, who has posted just a .691 OPS in 2019, will bat cleanup.
Ace Justin Verlander (9-2, 2.27 ERA) takes the hill for the Astros. In his only start against Seattle this year, Verlander allowed just one run on two hits in six innings of work while striking out 11 batters.
Mariners Lineup
Mallex Smith leads off for Seattle after a 3-for-5 showing on Wednesday. Mitch Haniger bats second despite his .190 batting average over the last 15 games. Daniel Vogelbach bats out of the cleanup spot for the second night in a row with Kyle Seager batting right behind him.
The Mariners will use Austin Adams as an opener for Tommy Milone (1-1, 3.60 ERA).
