Astros vs Reds MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Finale
By Jerry Trotta
The fourth-place Cincinnati Reds will look to complete a sweep of the AL West-leading Houston Astros on Wednesday. Yes, you read that correctly.
The 'Stros have been reeling of late, dropping three in a row and four of their last six, while the Reds have won three straight and now sit six games back of the Brewers in the NL Central.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch from Great American Ballpark is set for 12:35 p.m. ET and will be televised on FSOH and ATSW. Live streams for the interleague clash can be found on the MLB streams subreddit.
Reds Lineup
All-Star first baseman Joey Votto will get the day off despite hitting in eight of the last 10 games, including a 2-for-4 showing on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Jesse Winker will look to continue swinging a hot bat, as the left fielder is on a 5-for-11 stretch with two home runs and six RBI over the last three games.
Right-hander Tyler Mahle will get the ball for Cincy and is looking to bounce back from his last start against the the Rangers, where he only last 4.1 innings. The 24-year-old is 2-7 with a 4.33 ERA thus far in 2019.
Astros Lineup
Peep that three-hole, Houston fans. Jose Altuve is officially BACK after missing a month at the hands of a strained left hamstring. What better player to have returning for a club that's desperate to get back to the winning side of things?
Gerrit Cole (6-5, 3.67 ERA) will take the mound for AJ Hinch and will look to keep up his recent stretch of dominance. Over his last four starts, the two-time All-Star is 2-0 with a 2.52 ERA
With the return of Altuve and a red-hot Cole working in the Astros favor, we'd like to think that Houston will avoid a sweep.
