The Astros enter this game coming off a narrow 9-8 victory over the Rockies in the first game of the series. Pitcher Wade Miley (6-4) will get the start and build on his last start, where he allowed just one earned run and struck out two in six innings of work against the Seattle Mariners. Miley currently sports a solid 3.39 ERA, with 80 strikeouts in 95.2 innings pitched.
After pitching six innings of one-run ball against the Mariners last night, Wade Miley has a 3.39 ERA in 95.2 innings. Interesting home/road splits, too.

Trevor Story will be one to watch for in this one, as he was activated for the first game of the series and collected two hits in his return. He's now hitting .296 on the year with 17 homers and 48 runs batted in to go with 12 swiped bags.

The Rockies have been one of the best offensive teams during the first half of the season, averaging 5.7 runs per game and a collective .271 batting average. Pitcher Peter Lambert (2-0) will get the start Wednesday night, as he looks to improve upon his rough 6.57 ERA. In four starts at home, Lambert has a 9.95 ERA, with six homers allowed in 12.2 innings of work.
With one of the best teams in the AL in town, Lambert will have to pitch a great game if the Rox hope to have any chance to split the series.
