The Colorado Rockies and Houston Astros will begin a short two-game interleague series Tuesday night in Houston. The Astros took both games in Colorado earlier this season.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch from Minute Maid Park is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. ET. The game will air on ATT Sportsnet Rocky Mountain and ATT Sportsnet Southwest, and can be live streamed using the MLB Streams subreddit.
Rockies Lineup
All-Star Charlie Blackmon leads things off for the Rockies and is tied for fourth in the NL with a .325 batting average. Daniel Murphy bats third for the Rox, and is 7-for-23 (.304) against opposing starter Zack Greinke, making his much-anticipated Astros debut. He also homered off Greinke during the 2015 postseason while with the Mets.
German Marquez is on the mound, and is 10-5 with a 4.68 ERA with 150 strikeouts in the same amount of innings. In his only start against the Astros this season, he went six innings, allowed five runs (four earned), and struck out seven.
Astros Lineup
Michael Brantley will bat third, and is hitting .320, with 14 of his 16 home runs against right-handed pitching this season. Yuli Gurriel bats seventh and is hitting .352 with six home runs in the second half.
Zack Greinke will make his first start for the Houston Astros after he was acquired at the trade deadline. He made his sixth All-Star team and is 10-4 with a 2.90 this season. Pitching against the Rockies is familiar territory for him. He is 13-7 with a 3.68 ERA in 208 innings against them.
The Astros could potentially extend their lead in the AL West to double digits if they win and the Oakland A's lose to the Chicago Cubs tonight.
