Houston will give the ball to 24-year-old right-hander Jose Urquidy, who will be making his MLB debut tonight. In 15 appearances (13 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A, Urquidy has gone 5-3 with a 3.40 ERA. The hitter-friendly Coors Field is a heck of a place for a pitcher to make a debut.

Right-hander German Marquez will get the start for the Rockies tonight, and in 18 outings he owns an 8-3 record with a 4.29 ERA, striking out 113 batters over 115.1 innings. Marquez has the stuff to dominate opposing lineups, but it's been a struggle for him at home with his 5.70 ERA over nine starts.
