The Houston Astros are officially the bad guys of Major League Baseball in 2020. The fallout from the sign-stealing scandal has the team getting booed in Spring Training and the vitriol will only continue in the regular season.

But that criticism will only fuel some of the team's best players. These three Astros should have monster seasons in 2020 as they put their head done and ignore the noise.

3. Michael Brantley

Michael Brantley was an All-Star before he arrived in Houston last season. He was an All-Star again in 2019 and posted one of his best seasons with a 4.6 WAR. The veteran, from what we've learned from the investigation, was not in Houston at the height of their sign-stealing, so don't expect him to be significant affected by all the chatter. Brantley will be at an All-Star level again as long as he plays a full season.

2. Zack Greinke

Gerrit Cole is in New York and Justin Verlander is already dealing with injuries. That leaves Zack Greinke as the presumed ace of the staff to start the year. He was traded to Houston last season and is not someone associated with the scandal, even though it didn't have much of an impact with pitchers. Nonetheless, he should have a clear mind ready to pitch for one of the best teams he's been on in years. After all, he's coming off a season in which he posted a 2.93 ERA and made his sixth All-Star Game.

1. Carlos Correa

Correa has had down years the past two seasons as he dealt with several injuries. The shortstop's last full season came in 2016 when he posted a 6.1 WAR. He had the same mark in 2017 at the peak of the scandal, but has regressed since then because of his health. He's been outspoken in defense of his teammates this offseason and a year of full health should get him back to his All-Star potential, especially after he proclaimed he was putting all of the scandal chatter behind him.
