The drills don't commence until Thursday evening, but we may already have the winner of the entire NFL Scouting Combine. While speaking with the media, Auburn defensive end Marlon Davidson was asked about what he loves most about the game of football. Let's just say he didn't disappoint with his answer.

“What I love most about the game is that I can literally go out there and hit a man consistently, and pound him, and the police won’t come.” pic.twitter.com/EgV9rtIcsL
That's right, Davidson loves that he can inflict a beating on any and all opponents without law enforcement getting involved or making any unfortunate news headlines.
What a legend.
Davidson, paired alongside potential top-10 selection Derrick Brown, created a dominant pass rush down in Auburn. In fact, Davidson put up career-highs in his senior season. Through 12 games, the edge man accumulated 48 total tackles (11.5 for loss) and 6.5 sacks.

Entering Indianapolis, Davidson was projected to go the anywhere from the first round to the third. Given his prototypical "football guy" answer, Davidson no doubt won over some NFL coaches and executives. Of course, he'll have to translate that to his on-field drills on Saturday to increase his draft value further, but he's sure off to a fine start.
