We are nearly two months removed from the passing of former NFL tailback Cedric Benson, who died in a tragic motorcycle accident in Texas in August.
Well, his autopsy has just been disclosed and the details indicate that the former No.4 overall pick had alcohol and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in his system at the time of his death.
It's important to note that Benson was NOT drunk at the time of the crash, as he reportedly had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.02, which isn't nearly above Texas' legal limit of 0.08.

It is not know at this time, however, if the level of THC found in his system was significant enough to debilitate his driving. Further, medical examiners haven't established a timetable as to when the THC entered his system in relation to the time of the accident.
As far as we can tell, Benson was neither intoxicated or under the influence at the time his motorcycle crashed into a van that was attempting to make a left turn at an intersection.
