Avonte Maddox Relieves Every Eagles Fan With Injury Update on Twitter

Fans were holding their collective breath as Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox took a huge hit from teammate Andrew Sendejo and lay motionless on the ground before being stretchered off the field.
Now, everyone, Eagles fans in particular, can rest easy knowing their cornerback is going to be OK.

As unintentional as the hit was, this goes to show just how naturally dangerous the sport of football can be. These hits naturally happen due to the speed of the game, and it's even more frightening that Maddox's own teammate caused this.

With a minute left in the game, focus shifted back to football and Nigel Bradham picked off Aaron Rodgers to seal the 34-27 win for the Eagles.
Regardless of the outcome of the game, it's fantastic to see that Maddox is doing well and is in good spirits. Hopefully we'll see him back on the field shortly.
