Bad Vikings Loss to Saints Could Reportedly Spur Coaching Changes Starting 'at the Top'
By Ian Anderson

The Minnesota Vikings head into Wildcard Weekend as serious underdogs to the New Orleans Saints and it seems that head coach Mike Zimmer could be coaching for his job on Sunday.
If the game gets out of hand, the Vikings are reportedly considering making some significant changes to the coaching staff, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin
There’s so much more at stake for the Vikings than a playoff win this weekend. Examining how different the franchise could look depending upon what happens in New Orleans and what’s on the line for Cousins, Zimmer, Stefanski and Spielman. https://t.co/PmSNqJ1o9p

The Vikings ended the season on a sour note, dropping two straight games. Now, they're slated to go on the road to face the 13-3 Saints at the Superdome.
If Minnesota can't keep the Wild Card game at least remotely competitive, it could end up costing Zimmer his job, despite being under contract for one more year.

Since his arrival in 2014, Zimmer has turned the Vikings into a legitimate powerhouse in the NFC, but they've failed to string together a Super Bowl run. Their 13-3 season in 2017 saw them get trounced in the NFC Championship by the Eagles.
Plus, with OC Kevin Stefanski considered a possible head coaching candidate, there's a chance he could also be leaving the organization in the near future.
