Baker Mayfield Continues to Test Browns Fans' Patience With Latest Dumb Request

The Cleveland Browns were dubbed offseason champions by NFL fans and pundits alike this past Spring. As a result, we've all been subjected to a cocky and swagger-filled Baker Mayfield.

Yet, all the talk from Mayfield has led to a 3-6 record on the season and an overall bad statistical year for the sophomore signal-caller. After narrowly (and we mean narrowly) defeating the Buffalo Bills, Mayfield was as overconfident as ever, and he had yet another ridiculous request for Browns fans at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Be quiet while Mayfield is on the field. Seriously.

Can you blame Browns fans for getting excited that the offense actually reached the red zone? It's been a rare occurrence through ten weeks of the NFL season.

This is a contradictory statement by Mayfield. Last December, Mayfield called out Browns fans for the low attendance during their win over the Carolina Panthers. In fact, he said that the Browns "feed" off the energy of their fans.

So which is it, Baker? Do you want a loud stadium? Or do you want it so quiet you can hear a pin drop?

Mayfield isn't living up to his first-overall selection this season, despite all the bragging he did in the offseason. To ask for your own fans to be quiet after a game they won due to a missed Bills field goal is...dumb.
