Baker Mayfield Comments on Likely Kyler Murray Smack Talk When Browns Play Cardinals This Season

Week 15 of the 2019 NFL season will circled on the calendars of Oklahoma Sooners fans around the world. It's the Cleveland Browns vs. the Arizona Cardinals. More importantly, it's Baker Mayfield against Kyler Murray.

That's right, it's a battle between the first-overall picks and past two Heisman Trophy winners. So will there be any bragging rights on the line?

During an interview with Complex Sports, Mayfield revealed that there will be plenty of trash talk, but he's looking forward to play against his friend.

Murray was selected by the Cardinals last month to become the face of the franchise and master head coach Kliff Kingsbury's air raid offense. Even before training camp, Murray is the heavy favorite to win the Rookie of the Year, based off his explosive talent that he showcased with the Sooners this past season.

As for Mayfield, he enters his second season with high expectations. The Browns added a ton of talent this offseason, with the biggest prize being wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. With that, many believe that Cleveland will make the playoffs for the first time since 2002.

By the time Week 15 comes around, Murray can potentially play spoiler against his buddy Baker in terms of playoff contention.
