VIDEO: Baker Mayfield Spotted Working Out With Danny Amendola Wednesday
By Brendan Balsamo

With NFL Free Agency now a full go and an all-important season looming, Baker Mayfield is getting some work in with a practice target who, in theory, could actually be his teammate next season...should the Browns wish to pull the trigger on a trade. For now, though, this appears to just be some offseason fun while the rest of us are in some form of self-quarantine. In their latest workout team-up, Mayfield was seen throwing passes to Detroit Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola.

It's impractical to believe you'll see this duo on the field together in 2020 unless a trade happens considering Amendola just re-signed with Detroit last month on a one-year deal. Amendola had a productive year in 2019, though, so if he keeps it up into 2020, you could see him hit the free agent market looking to play with a more consistent quarterback (no offense, Matthew Stafford).
Lions now have Danny Amendola, Trey Flowers, Justin Coleman, Jamie Collins, Danny Shelton and Duron Harmon. Surprised they didn't get Brady, too

While it's unlikely to come to fruition in the near future, it's fun to imagine what the Mayfield-Amendola duo could do paired up.
