Baker Mayfield released by the Carolina Panthers

Well, the Baker Mayfield experiment for the Carolina Panthers didn't go as planned. Mayfield was brought in to take over the starting quarterback job and make some moves for the offense. Now, Mayfield is already on his way out of town.

On Monday morning, it was announced that the Panthers had released the former No. 1 overall pick. This felt like it was only a matter of time from going down. Now, Mayfield will see if anyone picks him up off waivers.
