Bam Adebayo out 4-6 weeks with thumb injury

The Miami heat are facing some adversity right now, as one of their best players will be away from the hardwood for more than a month. Bam Adebayo, the standout center, suffered a thumb injury and will need surgery.
Per a report, his timeline is looking to be right around 4-6 weeks where he won't be able to take the court. This is no doubt rough news for Miami.
INJURY UPDATE: Bam Adebayo suffered a torn Ulnar Collateral Ligament in his right thumb during Monday's game vs Denver and will undergo surgery this weekend.

A timetable on his return will be provided post-surgery.
Adebayo is averaing more than 18 points and 10 rebounds a night. With him playing so well, along with Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro, Miami is No. 3 out East with its 13-8 record. He'll be needed back ASAP.
