VIDEO: Bart Scott Drops Blatantly Incorrect Take About Patriots Playing on the Road in Playoffs
Oh Bart Scott, you were always a Patriots hater, but this time you're just plain ignorant. Take a look at the clip below from First Things First on FS1 and tell me that Scott has been paying attention to the state of the NFL. Spoiler alert -- it's not a good look for the former Pro Bowler.
According to Scott, the New England Patriots have never made a Super Bowl during a postseason where they played on the road. Now maybe he has some short-term memory loss, but I seem to recall a certain Tom Brady beating the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship just last season. Oh, and I believe that game took place at Arrowhead Stadium too, right? You know, the one in Kansas City.
While Bart may have been speaking in hyperbole, the fact remains that the Patriots most recent playoff victories have come in Atlanta (for the Super Bowl) and Kansas City respectively.
Maybe it's time for Bart to familiarize himself with the facts before he speaks on live television. While we are not happy about dragging him through the mud for his words, it's just our job to do so. Hopefully, the former Jet and Raven has learned his lesson about exaggerating.
