VIDEO: Bartolo Colon Posts New Workout Clip and Shows Unreal Flexibility
By Michael Luciano

Bartolo Colon is 47 years old, his gut is hanging over his waist, and he is still more flexible than you. On his 47th birthday, the portly pitcher proved that he has the flexibility and conditioning necessary to make it in the pros. Colon recently stated that even though he didn't play during the 2019 season, he wants one more chance to win a championship in the pros.

Colon's last MLB go-around came with the Texas Rangers in 2018, as he posted a 5.78 ERA at the age of 45.
While Colon has said that he would play anywhere, his preference is to play for the New York Mets, as the former Cy Young winner developed his "Big Sexy" personality during three quality seasons in Queens.
Happy birthday to Bartolo Colon!

A 47-year-old pitcher with a gut like he has normally wouldn't be given the time of day by most MLB GMs, but Colon might just have enough left in the tank for one last go-around.
