There really is just no introduction necessary for what you are about to witness. Though he hasn't officially retired from baseball, 46-year-old Bartolo Colon hasn't found work in 2019 after spending the year prior with the Texas Rangers. Well, for those wondering, he's still getting his work in. On Tuesday, a clip emerged of Big Sexy throwing at full velocity to teenagers on a mostly-dirt diamond, and we don't think that we've ever been this confused.

Sure, full speed for the former Cy Young winner at this stage in his life is probably close to 85 MPH, but why on earth is he playing with a bunch of kids? As we would expect, this batter didn't come close to making contact.

Perhaps Colon is attempting to restore his confidence on the bump after a dreadful 2018 campaign with the Rangers, where he finished 7-12 with a 5.78 ERA across 146.1 innings.

Whatever the case, this clip won't do his attempt to get back to the big leagues any favors.
