VIDEO: Baseball Fans Are Already Beaning Astros Players in New MLB The Show Game
By Michael Luciano
The Houston Astros might need to wait a little bit longer before they play their first regular season game post-sign stealing, but the suspension of MLB's season hasn't stopped the devout MLB The Show fans of the world from doing the dirty deed themselves. The game usually starts out with the player taking control of last year's World Series champion while playing against the World Series loser, as the game fully loads. Fans who were immediately placed against the Astros pulled no punches, as they started launching heaters right at Astros shortstop Carlos Correa.
Even more ironic was the fact that the pitcher this player hit Correa with was Will Harris, a key member of the 2017 "championship-winning" team, and the pitcher who surrendered the lead in Game 7 of the 2019 Series on a Howie Kendrick home run.
Now in enemy colors, he isn't sparing his old teammate.
With the start of the MLB season delayed, you can expect plenty of baseball fans to fire up their PS4 and cathartically plunk the likes of Correa, Alex Bregman, and Jose Altuve in a virtual world, if they can't witness the real-life beanings.
