Bears Fan Wears Amazing NSFW Shirt Aimed at Packers
By Chris Pyo
You can't blame Chicago Bears fans for celebrating their team history, especially when it comes at the expense of the Packers.
This NSFW shirt was seen before the Bears vs. Packers NFL opening night game, and packages together an onslaught of insults with a variety of historical references to the good ol' days when the Bears were feared across the league.
The first part of the shirt (just from a purely historical and football perspective) refers to Mike Ditka, the legendary Bears tight end and head coach. Knowing Ditka's in-your-face personality, he'd get a kick out of this shirt.
Butkus refers to Dick Butkus, widely considered to be one of the greatest linebackers ever to play in the NFL. Over a career that spanned nine years, he was nominated for the Pro Bowl eight times, was a six-time first team All-Pro, and was elected to the Hall of Fame. Not too shabby of a guy to refer to on this kind of shirt.
Piece those two legends together and you have a legendary shirt.
Props to this fan for knowing his history and creating a shirt that honors his team and insults their biggest rival, but that won't dictate whether Khalil Mack is going to be the second coming of Dick Butkus this season or if the Bears are finally going to capture that elusive second Super Bowl trophy.
Only time will tell.
