Bears Get Positive Update on QB Mitchell Trubisky's Shoulder Injury

Bears fans can sleep easy tonight. The update on Mitchell Trubisky is in and the team has avoided a major injury.
After landing awkwardly against the Vikings on Sunday in the first half, he left the game and was unable to return. Moments ago, it was reported Trubisky has been diagnosed with a slight labrum tear and dislocated left shoulder, but won't need surgery.
Initial MRI on Bears’ QB Mitchell Trubisky revealed he has a dislocated left shoulder, with a slight labrum tear, but does not need surgery and should he back “sooner rather than later”, per source. He will travel with team to London and is unlikely to play vs. Raiders.

Trubisky will still travel to London with Chicago, who will face Oakland on Sunday. Trubisky isn't expected to play in this one, but his injury won't sideline him for too long.
The good news for the Bears is following this week's contest, they have a bye and will return to action on Oct. 20 against the Saints. Trubisky could very well end up missing only one game.
Mitchell Trubisky heads to locker room with injury. Meanwhile, backup Chase Daniel completes a 25-yard pass to Allen Robinson to the Minnesota 5.
