Bears Injury Report for Week 1
By Jerry Trotta

The Chicago Bears have hefty expectations heading into the 2019 NFL season and they'll kick things off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
Luckily for Matt Nagy's squad, nobody's truly been dealt an unfair hand by the injury gods throughout training camp and the preseason. Let's take a look at Chicago's final injury report ahead of tonight's NFC North showdown to open the new regular seeason campaign.

*Limited: TE Trey Burton (groin); OL Rashaad Coward (elbow); DT Bilal Nichols (knee)
Game Status: Burton, Coward, Nichols (questionable)
*The Bears conducted a walk-through Wednesday; participation reports are estimates
Since they play the earliest game this week, the Bears' finally injury report was released on Wednesday, and it really shouldn't make the Soldier Field faithful feel all that worried.
Tight end Trey Burton is the only legitimate starter listed, as he remained a limited participant and should be viewed as questionable for tonight's tilt. Elsewhere, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols and offensive lineman Rashaad Cowbard are combating knee and elbow injuries, respectively, and are also listed as questionable.
The final injury report for the NFL’s season opener: #Bears TE Trey Burton (groin) is questionable, while #Packers LB Oren Burks (pec) and WR Darrius Shepherd (hamstring) are out. CB Ka’dar Hollman (neck) is questionable.

Unlike their foes, the Bears have as close to a clean bill of health as a team could have heading into their season-opening game. Therefore, they have no excuses to not show up tonight and get busy.
