Bears LB Roquan Smith Out for Game With Pec Injury

The Chicago Bears need a great performance from the entire roster to take down the Dallas Cowboys and keep their postseason dreams alive.
Roquan Smith being off the field is not a positive sign.
Bears LB Roquan Smith is done for the night with a pec injury. Big loss and one to keep an eye on.

Smith left the game with a 7-7 tie on the scoreboard. This is a potentially monumental loss for the Bears given how often Smith is on the field every week.
Bears defense down to backups DE, both LB spots and CB after Roquan Smith ruled out with pec injury. That was their second straight 3 and out. Six DBs on third-down stop. Interesting challenge for Chuck Pagano.

The Bears defense gave up a long touchdown drive to start the game before settling in and making some key stops. Keeping that momentum going will be much more difficult with Smith out and the Bears already thin on defense.
Smith led the Bears in tackles on Thanksgiving so it will be up to the rest of the defense to fill the void. Bears fans will have to hope this pec injury is not a long-term ailment, as Chicago's fight back to NFC playoff relevance will likely require all hands on deck.
The team still does have Khalil Mack, though he is off to a slow start against the Cowboys.
