Bears Should Reunite Nick Foles With Alshon Jeffery
By Will Coleman

The Chicago Bears had been looking for a quarterback to play behind or potentially in place of starter Mitchell Trubisky, and they found their guy in Nick Foles through a trade with the Jaguars to begin the offseason.
Whether it's the young gun or the veteran getting a majority of QB1 reps next season in Chicago, the Bears could still add an experienced playmaker to their offense for the sake of the depth. When thinking of receivers with ties to Foles and a past in Chicago, one specific name comes to mind.

The Eagles are set to pay Alshon Jeffery close to $10 million next season and more than $12 million in 2021, plus Philadelphia has reportedly been shopping the receiver for the last month, at least.
Jeffery not only played his best two NFL seasons in Chicago in 2013 and 2014, he also paired well with Foles when they overlapped in Philadelphia in 2017 and 2018. When Foles played in relief of Carson Wentz during the team's Super Bowl run, Jeffery's speed and athleticism made him one of his go-to targets.

Foles knows that if that linebacker (Roquan Smith) sticks to that streak, the area Jeffery is running to will be open.

The Bears would be bold to make a trade for Jeffery and take on the final years of his excessive contract, but Ryan Pace has to be willing to take those kind of risks if it means surrounding Foles and Trubisky with sufficient talent on offense.
