Bears sign Nathan Peterman for some reason

Remember quarterback Nathan Peterman? Of course you do. He's best known for being one of the most disappointing starting quarterbacks out there. Peterman has plenty of haters out there.

Now, he'll look to silence folks over in Chicago. On Wednesday, it was announced that the Bears signed him to a one-year deal. Plenty of people are asking themselves why?

Justin Fields is of course the No. 1 option for this team, as the former first-rounder is looking to have a big 2022 campaign. In terms of bringing in a veteran to help get Fields on the right track, was Peterman the best choice? Absolutely not.
