Bears will interview Byron Leftwich later this week

Things are really heating up for the Chicago Bears. After firing head coach Matt Nagy - which was a long time coming - the team and front office is now looking for his official replacement. Who will it be?
Several names have been linked to the job, including Byron Leftwich. While the Bucs OC is focused on trying to power Tampa Bay back to the Super Bowl, Ian Rapoport is reporting he'll interview with Chicago later this week.
The #Bears will interview #Bucs OC Byron Leftwich for their vacant HC job late this week, either Thursday or Friday, source said. He also previously interviewed with the #Jaguars.

This would be quite the hire by the Bears. With a young quarterback in the mix like Justin Fields, there's plenty of excitement around this team. Leftwich could help Fields reach his potential if he ends up getting the job.
