Ben Simmons drama continues for the 76ers
What will end up happening with Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers? Things really are unknown right now, as it doesn't look like the team will trade him, but the former No. 1 overall pick wants to play elsewhere.
Well, in the latest twist, Philadelphia will reportedly fine Simmons a huge chunk for each day he skips of training camp. Things open up in Camden in late September.
According to @TomMoorePhilly, the Sixers fully expect to bring Ben back.

The Sixers are not looking to make a backwards move and are willing to fine Simmons until he shows up.

If a trade - which doesn't look likely - doesn't get done, it'd be wise for Simmons to show up for Day 1 of camp. No one knows if that will end up happening, though.
